Motion Sensors

Motion Sensors are commonly known security sensors that monitor for and report the detection of movement within a monitored area by using infrared (IR) or vibrations. Motion sensors typically are used to notify a central security system or paired receiver that movement is detected, which will trigger the receiving device to activate a pre-programmed response like turning on a light, sounding an alarm or voice notification, or locking a door. Motion sensors are best placed at a high vantage point where it can cover the largest area possible without being tampered with.
