The JascoPro Series Z-Wave Plus Water Leak Sensor is battery-powered, allowing you to install it in various locations where outlets are not available for better placements under sinks, next to water heaters, or near other appliances. As a Z-Wave 800 series sensor, it utilizes the latest Z-Wave features such as a faster processor, longer range, more memory, and better energy efficiency. Once a leak is detected, its built-in speaker emits an audible alert, the LED indicator provides visual feedback, and the sensor communicates with your Z-Wave hub to send notifications, trigger automated actions, or activate connected devices to help prevent water damage.

The JascoPro Series Z-Wave Plus Water Leak Sensor (800 Series) easily integrates with your Z-Wave compatible smart hub, reaching up to 1,300 feet with Z-Wave Long Range. With its extended range, it allows signals to pass through walls, reducing interference for more reliable performance. Z-Wave LR Certification

Z-Wave LR extends Z-Wave connectivity beyond the boundaries of a single building with increased range and coverage and optimized battery life. Z-Wave LR devices operate on a star network topology which features a Z-Wave LR compatible gateway/hub at a central point and then establishes a direct connection to devices. ZWLR compatible devices offer up to 262 ft (80 m) indoor range line of sight and 1 mile (1.6km) outdoor without using any other Z-Wave devices as a signal relay or node. Z-Wave networks can support both Z-Wave LR and traditional Z-Wave nodes can co-exist within the same network, enabling a wide variety and combination of Z-Wave devices and Z-Wave LR devices.
