Upgrade your indoor lighting control with Z-Wave Plus remote control by installing the JascoPro Series Z-Wave Plus In-Wall Smart Switch, 800 Series. This smart toggle switch can command LED, CFL, incandescent and halogen lights with Z-Wave technology to enable On/Off remote control in addition to local control for a wired light or appliance. As a Z-Wave 800 series switch, it utilizes the latest Z-Wave features including a faster processor for quicker transmissions and greater energy efficiency when controlling devices and communicating with a Z-Wave hub. The toggle switch can be installed in single or multi-way wired applications to work in tandem with up to 4 JascoPro series add-on switches in 3, 4, 5 or 6-way wiring configurations. The toggle switch can also be included in multiple automation groups or scenes and features a blue LED backlit toggle design that works as an indicator to inform you of its location in the dark and device status.

This Z-Wave Plus Smart Toggle Switch is designed with QuickFit and SimpleWire features:

QuickFit: Provides a housing that's smaller by 20% with no break-off tabs to remove, which is ideal for older-style switch boxes, multi-gang configurations, or any other application with limited space.

SimpleWire: Auto-detects line/load terminals, making installation easier and quicker by detecting line and load wires and configuring the dimmer accordingly. It also features an offset dual ground terminal to avoid switch box mounting screws.

Z-Wave Plus v3 Certification

Z-Wave Plus v3 is an upgraded Z-Wave certification program to help you identify products that take advantage of the latest Z-Wave hardware platform, also known as 800 Series or Gen8 Z-Wave. Z-Wave Plus v3 compatible devices include extended wireless range up to 2600 ft/800 m outdoors, three layers of encryption, faster operation, and longer battery life.

Installation Details

The In-Wall Smart Switch works with incandescent, LED, halogen and fluorescent lighting, as well as any on/off resistive load up to 1800W and motor loads to 1/2 HP. The switch supports single-pole or multi-pole applications, and works in conjunction with up to four add-on switches.

The switch requires standard screw terminal installation with wiring connections for Line (Hot), Load, Neutral, and Ground. Multi-pole installation also requires a traveler wire.
