Add Z-Wave Plus control to any plug-in device and monitor its energy usage with the JascoPro Series Z-Wave Plus v3 Plug-in Smart Switch, 800 Series. This Z-Wave 800 compatible plug-in control module plugs into a standard outlet and provides remote Z-Wave control and inclusion into automation scenes to devices plugged into the Smart Switch. A button on the side of the module allows you to manually turn On/Off the module and prevent the controlled device from being controlled from the local switch. This Z-Wave device can be programmed to switch between traditional Z-Wave mesh transmissions and Z-Wave LR (Long Range) transmissions. Z-Wave LR communication protocol trades Z-Wave's traditional wireless mesh functionality with extreme long range point to point transmissions up to 1 mile/1.6km between a Z-Wave Hub and Z-Wave LR device. You can choose what kind of Z-Wave communication protocol you'd prefer the Plug-In Smart Switch to use from your Z-Wave hub's mobile application.
