This Wi-Fi smart switch is designed for installing behind a wall switch or electrical outlet to add Wi-Fi remote control to a wide range of applications such as lights, irrigation systems, heating and cooling systems, security devices, radiators, and more. It features 1 switch/button input, 1 potential-free contacts relay input, 3 power supply inputs, and 1 potential-free contacts relay output and is compatible with various load types, such as resistive loads (incandescent bulbs and heating devices), capacitive loads (capacitor banks, electronic equipment, and motor start capacitors), and inductive loads with RC Snubber (LED light drivers, transformers, fans, refrigerators, and air conditioners).

The Shelly Wi-Fi Plus 1 can be remotely accessed, controlled, and monitored from anywhere with an Internet connection using the Shelly Smart Control App (for iOS and Android) – as long as the Plus 1 is connected to a Wi-Fi router and the Internet. You'll be able to use your smartphone, tablet, PC, or home automation system to control the connected light or appliance and add them to smart home automation scenes. When paired with other smart devices in your smart home network, you trigger your lights to turn on when someone enters a room or have the lights turned off when motion is not detected for a predetermined amount of time. It's even compatible with voice assistants and other home automation platforms such as Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Samsung SmartThings for easy voice commands and smart control.
