Using the Shelly Smart Control app (for iOS and Android), you can control this Wi-Fi flood sensor remotely and immediately receive notifications whenever a leak is detected. You can even pair the Shelly Wi-Fi Flood Sensor with the Shelly Plus 1 (sold separately) to control your home's water manifold. When the flood sensor detects water, it can automatically trigger the Shelly Plus 1 to shut off the water supply to help prevent costly water damage from leaking pipes or appliances. The Shelly Wi-Fi Flood sensor is also designed to fit virtually anywhere and can be placed in areas that are prone to water leaks such as under any water or heat pipes, fridges and freezers, washing machines, and basement and bathrooms floors.
