Add Z-Wave Control & Monitor Energy
Add Z-Wave Plus control to any plug-in device and monitor its energy usage with the Aeotec Z-Wave Smart Switch 7. The Smart Switch 7 plugs into a standard outlet and provides remote Z-Wave control, inclusion into automation scenes, and energy monitoring features to devices plugged into the Smart Switch. The Smart Switch also includes surge protection and prohibits insertion of foreign objects, protecting your devices and wiring from electrical dangers.

Built-In Energy Meter
In addition to enabling Z-Wave communication, the Z-Wave Smart Switch 7 monitors the plugged in device's wattage consumption and kWh energy usage. Energy consumption will be displayed in the user interface of your Z-Wave gateway/controller (if supported). The device's energy usage is reflected by the switch's LED indicator light.
Z-Wave Plus v2 Certification
Z-Wave Plus v2 is an upgraded Z-Wave certification program to help you identify products that take advantage of the latest Z-Wave hardware platform, also known as 700 Series or Gen7 Z-Wave. Z-Wave Plus v2 compatible devices include extended wireless range up to 2600 ft/800 m, three layers of encryption, faster operation, and longer battery life.
