What's Included In The Kit

The Aeotec Z-Stick 7 is a USB plug-in gateway module capable of creating a local smart home Z-Wave network of up to 232 devices when plugged into a computer and used with compatible software including Home Assistant, openHAB, and more. The Z-Stick functions as a Z-Wave communication device, exposing the Zensys API (Serial API) through a USB connection. It is compatible with all major operating systems, including Windows 10, Mac, Linux, and Raspberry Pi 3. Unlike most other Z-Wave networks, the Z-Stick 7 allows for local control of your Z-Wave network through your local Internet without relying on cloud services.

The Ezlo Z-Wave Plus Smart Thermostat, 800 Series offers simple but intuitive touch controls on its backlit LED touchscreen. Raise or lower your target temperature with the up and down arrows or access settings with the center function button at the bottom of the screen. Program unique temperature set points for every day of the week based on your personal schedule. The Smart Thermostat provides 4 time periods to set per day to ensure optimal comfort levels and maintain energy efficiency. All of these settings can be adjusted from the thermostat or by using your smart mobile device through the MiOS mobile app or your connected Z-Wave hub's app.

The Shelly Qubino Wave 1PM Z-Wave Relay Module with Power Monitoring adds a single switch or outlet to your Z-Wave network through a wired retrofit connection between your home's power load and a chosen switch or outlet. Once installed, the Wave 1PM will enable your connected device to respond to remote commands and automated scenes, as well as monitor energy consumption of devices connected to your selected switch or outlet. The Wave 1PM can be remotely controlled and included in Z-Wave automated scenes from the Shelly Smart Control app or your connected Z-Wave hub's app.

The Aeotec illumino WallMote 7 is a battery powered remote control Z-Wave 700 switch designed to look and behave as a standard wall switch but with the benefits of a wireless remote controller. The WallMote 7 is capable of controlling virtually any Z-Wave device in your network via its Multi-tap functionality, issuing On/Off controls to lights and appliances, Dim/Brighten commands to dimmable lights, and activating/deactivating pre-programmed scenes. If your Z-Wave hub/gateway is capable of controlling other wireless devices such as Wi-Fi or Zigbee connected devices, the WallMote 7 can control those devices as well.

The Leviton Z-Wave Plus Plug-In Appliance Module adds remote On/Off control via Z-Wave to plug-in CFL and LED lights up to 600W, incandescent, halogen, and fluorescent lights up to 1800W, and motor loads up to 1/2 HP. Any supported load plugged into the Appliance Module can also be incorporated into smart scenes or zone control applications. In case of power malfunctions, the Leviton Decora smart plug remembers On/Off status of plugged-in devices.

The Sensative Strips Drip Z-Wave 800 Water Leak & Temperature Sensor notifies you when leaks or extreme temperatures are detected, and also reports live ambient room temperature. The miniscule design of this Z-Wave sensor allows it to be installed where other leak sensors can't fit, ensuring that you can monitor any corner of your home and enjoy complete safety coverage.

Home Automation Scenes Make Living At Home Easier and Better

This smart home Z-Wave kit includes a great assortment of smart home devices that can be included in multiple home automation scenes. For example: Program "Away" and "Sleep" that triggers according to time of day or whenever you want:

• Use a multi-tap input of the Aeotec Z-Wave Plus illumino WallMote 7 to turn off all Z-Wave controlled lights and set the Ezlo Z-Wave Plus Smart Thermostat to a preset temperature to keep your home comfortable while you are out or going to bed.
• Install the Shelly Qubino Wave 1PM Z-Wave Relay Module behind the outlet your TV is plugged into to monitor when the TV is on and set a time to deactivate the outlet.

If you have a voice assistant such as Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant or Apple Siri, you can ask your voice assistant to activate other compatible Z-Wave devices as you leisurely walk between rooms in your home.

Installation Details

The Ezlo Z-Wave Plus Smart Thermostat, 800 Series mounts onto walls, replacing existing thermostats or as part of a new construction. The Ezlo Smart Thermostat mounts to the wall with the included backplate and mounting screws and wires to the HVAC system.

The Shelly Qubino Wave 1PM Z-Wave Relay Module with Power Monitoring fits in behind a wall switch or outlet, and requires a neutral wire for setup. The Wave 1PM will automatically attempt to locate and request inclusion into your local Z-Wave network after it is installed.

Simply plug your device into the Leviton Decora Smart Z-Wave Plus Plug-In Appliance Module, and plug the module into a power outlet.

The Aeotec Z-Wave Plus Illumino Wall Mote 7 can be installed on any wall as a surface mount switch, placed into a standard 1-gang junction box, or used as a handheld remote control. When surface mounted onto any wall or junction box, use the included hardware. The WallMote 7 magnetically affixes to the included screw plate.

The Multi-Sensor 7 comes with a mounting arm for installation on a wall or in a corner with freedom to adjust. The mounting arm allows you to rotate the sensor up to 360° and adjust its field of view by up to 50°. You can alternatively install the sensor in-wall/ceiling using the recessor mount (sold separately), which minimizes the sensor's extrusion from the wall to only 12mm (less than 1/2 inch).
