Capture HD quality footage as you monitor your property with the Uniview 8MP HD Eyeball Network Fixed Dome Camera, 2.8mm Lens. This fixed dome camera uses an 8MP (3840x2160 @ 30/25fps) 1/2.8"CMOS sensor to capture high-quality footage in both indoor or outdoor areas. It supports Ultra 265, H.265, H.264, MJPEG compression formats and features an IR-cut filter and 130dB true WDR technology to ensure optimal image quality is captured in low light environments. Monitor narrow vertical areas such as hallways or aisles through the camera's 9:16 Corridor Mode, which allows you to change the camera's aspect ratio from 16:9 to 9:16. The camera also comes with red and blue warning lights to provide an extra layer of security. When an intruder is detected the bright warning lights will flash and an audio warning can be played to inform intruders they're being watched.

This camera supports Smart Video Content Analysis (VCA) software which greatly enhances the capabilities of your surveillance network. When connected to a VCA compatible network video recorder, the camera can utilize smart monitoring features, such as cross line intrusion detection, motion detection, tampering alarm, and audio detection, to better detect certain subjects or criteria within the camera's field of view. VCA software can be used during live surveillance or when reviewing recorded footage.

Additionally, a built-in microphone and speaker will allow you to speak with monitored subjects so you can tell an unwanted intruder to leave or instruct delivery personnel to leave the package at the door.

Installation Details

This Fixed Dome Network Camera is weather-resistant (IP67) and can be installed outdoors or indoors. The camera is powered by a 12VDC power supply or over Ethernet (PoE) connection, and includes a mounting template and hardware for installation. Alternative mounting options such as pole mounting, pendant mounting, junction box mounting, and more are available through mounting adapter accessories, sold separately.
