Expand the water leak detection area of your property with the Resideo L1 Wi-Fi Water Leak and Freeze Detector. When paired with the Resideo L5 Wi-Fi Actuator (sold separately), the L1 Water and Freeze Detector offers advanced leak detection by instantly sending wireless alerts to the L5 actuator whenever a water leak is detected. This allows the actuator to promptly shut off your property's water main, helping to prevent costly water damage from occurring due to flooding. The L1 Leak Detector comes with a 5 Ft. cable sensor that can detect water along the entire length and has a built-in LED and 100 dBA alarm that will also activate for visual and audible alerts. Additionally, you can extend the reach of the 5 Ft. cable sensor by connecting extra cable sensors together to expand coverage by up to 500 ft. And because the L1 can also detect frozen conditions, you'll receive alerts so you can prevent frozen pipes from bursting and causing leaks.

You can expand water leak coverage on your property by installing multiple Water Leak Detectors to cover your entire property and place them in areas that are more susceptible to water leaks and floods such as under sinks, around toilets, near water heaters and washers, or under other appliances. Up to 30 L1 Water and Freeze Detectors can be paired with a single Resideo L5 Actuator for complete water detection coverage of your home. The L1's sensor cable is also reusable, which means you can reset the L1 after it detects water by allowing the cable to completely dry – once it's dry, just plug it back in so it can be used again. To manage, control, and pair the L1 Wi-Fi Water Leak and Freeze Detector to the Resideo L5 Actuator you'll need to install the Resideo App (for iOS and Android devices) where you'll be able to set up notifications, customize alerts, and pre-set shutoff locations.
