Know When Motion Has Been Detected At Home

Easily add an additional layer of security and automation to your home with the HomeSeer MS100 G8 Z-Wave Plus Long Range Motion Sensor. This Z-Wave motion sensor monitors and reports movement within an area of a room for home security and home automation functions and utilizes Z-Wave Plus Long Range LR to communicate across greater distances than other Z-Wave devices. Include the Sensor into Z-Wave smart scenes or routines to trigger other devices to send alerts or activate/deactivate when the Sensor is triggered. Once movement is detected it can trigger your home security alarm or can launch a home automation scene or event, such as turning on the lights whenever motion is sensed. It can also be programmed to send inactivity alerts when motion is not detected for a period of time to monitor sleeping family members. The HomeSeer MS100 G8 will also report low battery status and attempts to remove or tamper the sensor.

Installation Details

The HomeSeer MS100 G8 Z-Wave Plus Long Range Motion Sensor mounts onto walls or flat surfaces with its included screw and double-stick tape. The main unit easily attaches to the magnetic mount and you can point the sensor dome and lens towards the area you wish to monitor.
