The Home Connect 620 Smart Locks are the first smart locks from Kwikset to feature Z-Wave 700 compatibility, enabling them to integrate with all Z-Wave networks and benefit from the latest Z-Wave software features, including increased battery life and S2 encryption, and SmartStart framework. Home Connect Smart Locks offer multiple methods to access your home while providing increased security against break-ins and lockpicking. Accessing the Home Connect Smart Lock with voice commands is possible via Z-Wave hubs compatible with smart assistants such as Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant. Additionally, These smart locks are able to work in tandem with the Ring Video Doorbell and the Ring Alarm security device through the Ring app. Both the Ring Video Doorbell and Ring Alarm are required for this feature.

The Home Connect 620’s keypad saves up to 250 different 4-to-8-digit pass codes, allowing family, friends, and guests to enter their own codes to access your home at pre-selected times. Codes are easily created and deleted, so you can give temporary access to housesitters, maintenance workers, etc. One master user has complete control over the system, preventing all other users from adding or deleting codes. The lock's keypad also includes a one-touch locking feature by pressing the Kwikset button.
