It features a robust protection circuit that helps protect the output channel of each amplifier, all while providing safe and efficient operation under extreme conditions. The D1650 is compatible with Russound volume controls and designed for the demands of distributed audio systemsdue to its 16 channels that are arranged in stereo pairs, which provide discrete amplification and customization for configuring each 8 zones.

The Russound D1650 Amplifier is extremely versatile. In bridge mode, it can provide a 160 watt x 8 channel high powered zone that meets the rigorous demands of a home theater application or you can individually un-bridge pairs to run lower applications using surround speakers. Additionally, you won't hear amplifier hum from the speakers when the system isn't in use since the D1650 offers advanced triggering options, which allow the amplifier to operate on demand.
