Controls a Local Load & Receivers
As both a transmitter and a receiver, the PCS SimpleWorx Wall Switch Transceiver Relay (120V/15A) supports a variety of remote control configurations. The switch controls a local electrical load just like a traditional wall switch. The locally connected load can be controlled with the switch (top rocker for ON, bottom rocker for OFF), or with a SimpleWorx remote transmitter. The switch can also send commands to an infinite number of SimpleWorx receivers.
- Controls a local electrical load up to 15 Amps
- Sends commands to an infinite number of receivers
- Accepts and relays commands from up to eight transmitters
- Suitable for three-way switch applications
- Mounts in a standard electrical box
For example, you could wire a light to the Wall Switch Transceiver and link the Transceiver to a SimpleWorx receiver. Then, you could use another SimpleWorx transmitter to remotely turn on the light connected to the Transceiver, as well as the secondary receiver. An ON command from the transmitter would be received by the Transceiver and then passed onto the receiver.
Three-Way Switch Applications
Three-way switches are perfect for hallways, stairways, and other areas where two switches for one light would be convenient. If you want to create a three-way switch, use this transceiver with a PulseWorx Wall Switch (model RWS, sold separately). The two switches work together to create a three-way switch that can be locally or remotely controlled.
NOTE: Requires a SimpleWorx transmitter and/or receiver for remote control applications.
About SimpleWorx
SimpleWorx is a revolutionary digital point to points control system that cost-effectively provides basic on/off lighting control. SimpleWorx is powered by SPC (Simple Powerline Communication), a rock solid proven technology that offers efficient solutions for remotely turning lights on and off. SPC provides super reliable one-way control of lights and appliances using existing 120V wiring, and offers significant benefits above older powerline technologies or traditional Wired and RF solutions.
