Apple HomeKit Plus Sensor Alerts You When An Object Opens

Monitor the use of open/close objects with the FIBARO Door/Window Sensor, HomeKit Enabled. This 3-in-1 multisensor detects and reports the status of a single door, window, drawer, or other Open/Close object, ambient air temperature and sudden changes in temperature, as well as any tampering attempts. When the status of an open/close object changes, the temperature increases over 3 degrees F within 10 minutes, or the sensor is tampered with, the Sensor will send an alert to your Apple HomeKit compatible device or network and the sensor's LED will blink. The sensor consists of two components: a magnet and a battery-powered reed sensor. When the two components separate, an alarm signal is sent to a connected Apple HomeKit device. The sensor can be programmed to trigger automated smart home or smart security scenes including turning On/Off lights when a door is used, Opening/Closing windows based on temperature, or triggering an alarm if a door or cabinet is opened while a security system is armed.
