Keep the people on your property safe from high levels of carbon monoxide with the BRK CO511B First Alert Wireless Interconnected Carbon Monoxide Alarm with Voice and Location. This CO alarm activates when carbon monoxide is detected by emitting 3 types of alarms: a loud voice warning announcing the location of the danger (e.g., "Warning, Evacuate, Carbon Monoxide in Basement"), loud beeps from the horn will be heard, and the built-in LED flashes red as a visual indicator of the danger. This wireless CO alarm can also operate on a mesh network with up to 18 compatible First Alert alarm units (maximum of 12 smoke alarms), so when one alarm sounds, all compatible alarms do the same since each unit uses radio frequency communication to connect to each other without the need for electrical wiring.
This CO alarm is designed with an electrochemical sensor, which detects high levels of carbon monoxide in instances where gas can build up at deadly levels due to incorrectly installed or poorly maintained or ventilated appliances such as stoves, hot water heaters, or other gas/wood burning appliances. Additionally, this CO alarm features a visual LED power-on indicator to confirm it's receiving power, a fully screened sensing chamber to keep small insects out, and an End of Life signal to warn you when it's time to replace the batteries.

Installation Details
The BRK CO511B CO Alarm includes mounting hardware and is ideal for ceiling and wall mount installations. The detector mounts either on a wall or ceiling with the included hardware. Tamper-resistant locking pins lock the battery in place and help prevent unauthorized removal by securing the detector to the mounting bracket. The detector's side-loading battery compartment allows you to avoid setting off false alarms and easily replace the battery anytime.
