This pack of unshielded modular plugs is specifically designed for terminating unshielded Cat6/6a LAN cables (load bars are not required). This ProSeries Pass-Through RJ45 Modular Plug features Cap45, which is a unique isolation cap that covers exposed wire ends once it's snapped onto the front of the plug after termination. Its design prevents electrical shorting in the RJ45 socket that can be caused by improperly trimmed wires or in sockets of other devices that may not be fully compliant.

The Simply45 ProSeries RJ45 Pass-Through Modular Plug uses a 3-prong pin design that provides 3 points of contact with the copper wire and not 2. This enhances electrical performance and signal integrity. It also has a unique internal design, allowing the LAN cable to be inserted further in the RJ45 plug to minimize the length of untwisted wires, which improves performance. It's light red tint helps with identification so you'll be able to easily identify which plug is which. This RJ45 plug is ideal for larger unshielded Cat6/6a UTP LAN cables (23 AWG Solid LAN cable wire conductor sizes 0.041" – 0.047"/1.05 – 1.2mm).
