Activate home automation scenes or actions directly from a wall switch without having to use a smart home hub with the Shelly Plus i4 Input Controller. This input controller installs behind a wall switch and is specifically built for standard home installations that require AC power. It's powered by 110-240 V AC and can connect to 4 inputs that can each activate a different action or home automation scene. Featuring 4 switch/button inputs and 3 power supply inputs, it connects to your Wi-Fi network so you can utilize its embedded web server to access and manage it remotely from any location you have an Internet connection with a computer or mobile device. It can be used to control other Shelly switches, sensors, or devices controlled by HTTP and MQTT protocols, and it has Bluetooth connectivity to allow you to quickly add connected devices for the initial setup and pairing using the Shelly Cloud app (for iOS and Android).

The Shelly Plus i4 Input Controller operates without the need for a smart hub and is ideal for connecting to a wall switch that has up to 4 buttons. Each button supports up to four different actions, which means a single 4-button switch can trigger up to 16 individual actions. It's also designed with a Smart Schedule feature that will allow you to automatically trigger actions or home automation scenes at set times. You'll be able to create scenes that will turn On/Off lights, shut the blinds, turn off outlets, or adjust thermostats when a button is pressed or at a desired time such as every weekday at 7:00 a.m. Additionally, it's designed with an ESP32 fast processor for an improved API interface and offers Overheat Protection to cut power and prevent damage to connected devices that may overheat.

Enjoy enhanced home automation control and precise monitoring of your Shelly devices no matter where you are with the Shelly Smart Control app. The app connects to Shelly's cloud service to help you control your connected devices remotely and send notifications for all automated events in your home directly to your smart device. You can easily configure devices and manage their settings individually, or you can create personalized scenes by combining Shelly devices to trigger certain actions in your smart home network.
