Track how much electricity is being used by an appliance using contactless metering with the Shelly Current Transformer, 50A (for Pro EM-50/EM Gen3). This current transformer is built to snap directly onto a primary circuit and pairs with Shelly energy monitoring devices, such as the Shelly Pro EM or Shelly EM Gen3, to measure alternating current (AC) flow. By clamping around the live conductor, it eliminates the need to cut or interrupt the wire, unlike standard inline ammeters. The Shelly Current Transformer (50A for Pro EM-50/EM Gen3) is designed for monitoring smaller circuits and appliances that draw up to 50 amperes of current.
