Detect PoE end/mid-span voltages on network cables and jacks using the Platinum Tools Pocket-Sized PoE Detector. This mini-sized detector is small enough to fit in your pocket or add to your toolbox without hassle.
The PoE detector features bright-shining LEDs that make it easy to see instant "GO/NO-GO" detection on PoE networks. To test a network, you can either plug your network cable directly into the detector's built-in RJ45 jack, or use the included patch cord to plug the detector into a wall jack and detect its voltage. The PoE Detector is also 802.3af or 802.3at compatible.

Differentiates Between End-Span & Mid-Span
Designed for testing PoE ports, switches, routers, and injectors, the Platinum Tools Pocket-Sized PoE Detector differentiates between end-span and mid-span voltage. End-span PoE power detection for PoE switches or routers is indicated by voltages on pairs 1/2 and 3/6 on the detector. Mid-span detection for voltage from injectors is indicated by voltages on pairs 4/5 and 7/8.
