Z-Wave Plus Sensor Alerts You When An Object Opens

Monitor the use of open/close objects with the FIBARO Z-Wave Plus Door/Window & Temperature Sensor (also known as the Door/Window Sensor 2). The sensor is a Z-Wave Plus certified product (U.S. frequency) that is compatible with all major Z-Wave hubs and controllers. Like the previous model, this upgraded version is perfect for detecting the open/close status of a door, window, gate, garage, drawer, cabinet, etc. The wireless unit consists of two components: a magnet and a battery-powered reed sensor. When the two components separate, an alarm signal is sent to the Z-Wave network. To support advanced monitoring applications, the sensor also has a built-in temperature sensor (unlike the previous model) and can be programmed to trigger automated scenes or security functions.
