The Mino Digital Personal Amplifier is an all-digital personal amplifier that helps you hear better in most everyday situations. The included lightweight stereo earphones offer great sensitivity and excellent isolation from ambient noise. Mino is as small as a cell phone and can be kept discreetly in your pocket. It incorporates two different microphones to give you fine-tuned sound reception no matter where you are.
One microphone is omnidirectional for quiet environments, such as a small meeting or a dinner at home. The other "zoom" microphone is unidirectional for noisy environments, such as a busy restaurant or a raucous sporting event. Simply point the mic in the direction of the person talking or the sound you want to amplify. Mino's advanced digital algorithm automatically recognizes and amplifies speech, while simultaneously filtering out unwanted background noise to make listening an enjoyable experience.

Using the Mino is intuitive. Just place it on a table or hang it around your neck. Speech comes through loud and clear. Choose to listen with earphones, headphones, Microset, or if you use hearing aids, via a neckloop (sold separately).
Listening with Telecoil
Many public venues, such as concert halls, theaters, and churches, are fitted with loop systems. In these venues (marked with a T symbol as shown), Mino captures the sound with its built-in telecoil. Simply activate the telecoil in these environments for crystal clear movie, music, or speaker audio.
Additional Features
You can connect Mino directly to your television with an additional cord. Select the mono option on your Mino for even clearer speech. Balance Control sets the balance between the left and right ear so you can compensate for a more severe hearing loss in one ear. Base Reduction is used to minimize the low frequency interference that can be generated by fans, traffic, or roads. A clip on the back allows you to comfortably wear the Mino on a belt or sleeve, and the included strap lets you loop it around your neck.
