Create a multi-room distributed audio system capable of utilizing virtually any audio source with the Russound 6 Zone, 6 Source Controller Amplifier! This distributed audio controller amplifier acts as the core of the Russound MCA audio system to deliver high quality audio to up to 6 zones in a home or commercial building, or up to 36 zones when networked with additional Russound MCA amplifiers. The MCA-66 provides numerous input options including up to 6 line level stereo inputs, 3 coaxial inputs and 1 optical, with optional configuration to connect to a 3rd party paging or intercom system or a Bluetooth transceiver. Each Amplifier offers the following standard features: party modes, alarm and sleep timers, do not disturb zone designation, source and zone linking, all-on/all-off participation, and other customization settings. The MCA-66 has a Home Theater trigger and one 12VDC trigger output for power management and control.

All MCA products are IP compatible through Russound's RIO software (Russound I/O). RIO software allows Russound IP based control systems to integrate with, control, and communicate bi-directionally with other IP compatible devices and controllers through an open protocol, including smart home hubs and controllers. Russound Amplifiers are controlled from the MyRussound mobile app, Web Config via an internet browser, and local IP controllers such as the Russound XTS7 Touchscreen or the Russound IPK-1 Keypad. A single MCA-66 amplifier supports up to 6 IR outputs for IR remote control, plus 6 IP connections for 1 keypad to control a single zone.
