Control A Single Device Or Lamp From Your Phone Via Wi-Fi
Add plug-in appliances and lights at home to your Wi-Fi network with the Leviton Decora Smart Tamper-Resistant Outlet (2nd Gen). This Wi-Fi connected outlet adds smart wireless control to a single electrical device plugged into the top outlet, enabling you to remotely command plug-in lights, small appliances, or electronics from your mobile device via the My Leviton app. Devices plugged into the top outlet can be commanded to turn On/Off at your discretion, according to pre-scheduled times, or as a part of pre-programmed scene or automated routine. The bottom outlet is a standard "always on" outlet best suited for devices that do not benefit from smart home control, such as charging devices. Unlike most other wireless devices, the Decora Smart Tamper-Resistant Outlet can be directly controlled from your smartphone or tablet via Wi-Fi and does not require an automation hub to operate. Through the My Leviton app you can add the Outlet to Leviton or third-party automation systems.

The Decora Smart Tamper-Resistant Outlet supports incandescent lights up to 1500W and LED/CFL bulbs up to 600W. As a scene-capable device, it can be included into automation scenes or group applications. The button on the front of the Outlet is used for local manual On/Off commands. In case of power malfunctions, the Outlet remembers the status of plugged-in devices.
The Outlet can be paired with up to 3 wire-free DAWSC Anywhere Switch Companions to add local manual control for anyone to use. Anywhere Companion switches appear identical to traditional switches and are easily mounted onto any interior wall or into an existing wallbox with no wiring required.

The Decora Smart Wi-Fi 2nd Generation family of products build upon the features and capabilities of the original Decora Smart Wi-Fi devices, creating a streamlined and more robust smart home experience. 2nd Gen Decora Smart Wi-Fi products are compatible with existing 1st Gen Decora Smart Wi-Fi devices including in-wall dimmers/switches and plug-in modules for appliances and lamps.
Control from Anywhere – No Hub Required
Control connected loads and lights using the free My Leviton app for iOS and Android, no hub required. Simplify control of the residence – schedule lights and connected loads to turn on/off at specific times or based on sunrise/sunset, easily group smart devices into rooms, and create activities (aka scenes) to command multiple lights at once.

Control up to 99 devices, 50 rooms, 50 activities (or scenes), and 5 schedules per residence and up to 20 residences per account.
Create schedules like "Good Morning" to activate appropriate lighting at preset times. For instance, at 6:30AM every Monday through Friday, turn the bedroom lights to 25% and master bath lights to 50%.

Installation Details
The Decora Smart Tamper-Resistant Outlet (2nd Gen) fits into a single-gang box and replaces a standard wall outlet. The receptacle's shallow design allows for optimal spacing for wiring with the electrical box. The Outlet requires Line, Neutral, and Ground wires for installation.
The Outlet is compatible with Decora Smart Outlet Color Change Kits (DSRKT). The included wallplate can be easily replaced with another colored wallplate from the Color Change Kits.
