Add automatic and remote motorized operation to one of your existing window shades or blinds with the RYSE SmartShade Complete Starter Kit! This complete starter kit includes everything you need to install, command, and remotely control a RYSE SmartShade: the RYSE SmartShade, RYSE BatteryPack, and RYSE SmartBridge. The RYSE SmartShade adds motorized control to a single window shade or blinds controlled by a pull chain. Once installed, the SmartShade opens and closes your shades or blinds by pressing the on-device buttons or via Bluetooth using the RYSE App. The RYSE BatteryPack provides a wire-free option to power your RYSE SmartShade with up to 6 months of operation on a single charge. The RYSE SmartBridge for SmartShade connects to your Internet connection to allow your SmartShade(s) to be included into a smart home network and unlock scheduled routines and additional control options.

Unlike competing motorized window covering operators, the SmartShade fits directly onto an existing pull chain, eliminating the need for costly installation. SmartShades alleviate your daily tasks by providing you remote control of your window coverings and assist in lowering your summer energy bills by raising and lowering your window coverings well before the temperature rises.
The SmartBridge allows SmartShade devices to be included into a smart home network and programmed to operate on a routine schedule or as a part of an existing automated scene. Up to 10 SmartShade devices can be grouped together to respond to a single command or programmed individually. Additionally, the SmartBridge enables remote control via Wi-Fi and voice control compatibility with Amazon Alexa, Google Home, and Apple HomeKit. Without the SmartBridge, a SmartShade device can only be manually operated using the physical buttons or via local Bluetooth connections.
The RYSE BatteryPack for SmartShade is a rechargeable battery that provides up to 6 months of operation for a RYSE SmartShade with a single charge and gives you the option of a wire-free look for your powered window shades.
Installation Details
The SmartShade installs directly onto a plastic or metal bead chain of your existing shades or blinds. Remove the SmartShade's back cover to place your bead chain into the grooves of the operator. An included mounting bracket allows you to mount the SmartShade onto a nearby wall or frame.
The SmartShade is powered by an included wired power supply or with the RYSE BatteryPack (sold separately). If powered by the BatteryPack, the SmartShade can operate between 3 to 6 months before the BatterPack needs to be recharged.
The BatteryPack's micro USB connection allows the BatteryPack to easily attach and detach from the SmartShade without worry of it falling off.
The SmartBridge plugs into a standard outlet and connects to an Ethernet switch or modem via Ethernet connection. The SmartBridge wirelessly connects to nearby SmartShades within your home or business.
RYSE App
Remotely control your SmartShades with the RYSE App for iOS and Android. On its own, the RYSE App connects your smart device to a single SmartShade using Bluetooth wireless communication for on-demand control of your SmartShade. With the addition of the RYSE SmartBridge, additional features such as automated routines, smart home inclusion, Wi-Fi remote control, and voice control compatibility are unlocked. Up to 10 SmartShades can be connected to the RYSE SmartBridge and all can be configured to operate in 1 or more groups or individually. Automating your RYSE SmartShades assists in lowering your summer energy bills by raising and lowering your window coverings well before the temperature rises.

RYSE: Upgrade Your Existing Window Shades
RYSE is the first retrofit solution to motorizing and automating existing window blinds and shades. Their company's inception came from searching for the solution to reducing indoor heat without breaking the bank.
