Quick installation guide for the Zipato VS-ZP3102+ Multi Sensor Dual — a Z-Wave wireless PIR motion sensor with tamper detection.
Quick installation guide for the Zipato VS-ZP3102+ Multi Sensor Dual — a Z-Wave PIR motion/tamper sensor for home security applications.
The VS-ZP3102+ is a wireless PIR motion sensor built on Vision's home security platform. It is a Z-Wave enabled device using interoperable, two-way RF mesh networking technology, and is fully compatible with any Z-Wave enabled network. Every mains-powered Z-Wave device acts as a signal repeater, so more devices on the network create more possible transmission routes and help eliminate RF dead spots. This sensor monitors movement and sends a Z-Wave signal when movement is detected inside the building.
Note: If installing an entire Z-Wave system for the first time, refer to the installation guide for your Z-Wave Interface Controller before installing the VS-ZP3102+.
"Awake" mode is entered by removing the cover — this lets the Z-Wave controller perform association while the sensor is out of Sleep mode.
