Installation and setup guide for the X10 PRO PSH02 Power Horn Remote Siren — a plug-in 105dB X10 siren/annunciator that plugs into any outlet and receives X10 commands.
This plug-in X10 PRO siren produces a "high pitched chirp" at 105dB. It can also be used as an annunciator (chime).
Nearly all residential homes are wired SPLIT-PHASE. Each 120V phase is NOT directly connected to the other 120V phase. If an X10 receiver does not respond to a remote controller after installation, check that the breaker serving the receiver is on the same phase as the controller — if not, move it to the opposite phase breaker. An alternative solution is to install a Phase Coupler for improved remote communications throughout the home (see x10pro.com Technical Support / PLC Troubleshooting).
