Installation and operating instructions for the X10 KR19A SlimFire™ Remote — a wireless remote control for X10 lighting and appliance modules, used with the TM751 Transceiver.

    Overview

The KR19A works with the TM751 Transceiver (sold separately). It lets you turn on/off two individually coded X10 Modules and brighten/dim lights connected to Lamp Modules and Wall Switch Modules. In the default state (after first fitting the battery), the KR19A is set to Housecode A. The first (top) two ON/OFF buttons control modules set to Unit Code 1; the second (middle) two buttons control Unit Code 2.

    Basic Setup

    1. Plug in an X10 TM751 Transceiver (sold separately).
    2. To turn on/off X10 Modules set to Unit Code 1 (Housecode A), press the first (top) ON or OFF button. To turn on/off modules set to Unit Code 2 (Housecode A), press the second (bottom) ON or OFF button.
    3. To brighten or dim Lamp Modules or Wall Switch Modules, press the number button first, then press the Bright or Dim button.

If you only want to control Modules 1 and 2 on Housecode A, no further setup is required.

    Changing the Housecode

    1. Press and hold the first (top) ON and OFF buttons together for 2–3 seconds to enter Program Mode (the LED stays on).
    2. Press and release the first (top) ON button the appropriate number of times for the desired Housecode — once for A, twice for B, etc. The LED blinks off for each press.
    3. Press the second (bottom) ON or OFF button to return to Normal Mode. The unit also returns to Normal Mode automatically if no keys are pressed for more than 30 seconds.

    Changing the Unit Code

This changes the Unit Code for the first (top) two buttons — the second pair of buttons is always one number higher than the first pair (e.g., if the first button is set to 6, the second button controls 7).

    1. Press and hold the first (top) ON and OFF buttons together for 2–3 seconds to enter Program Mode (the LED stays on).
    2. Press and release the first (top) OFF button the appropriate number of times for the desired Unit Code — once for 1, twice for 2, etc. The LED blinks off for each press.
    3. Press the second (bottom) ON or OFF button to return to Normal Mode (or wait 30 seconds of inactivity).

    Battery Replacement

Pry the unit apart and fit a CR2025 3V Lithium battery, observing correct polarity.
