    Full text manual (for reference)

Installation and operating instructions for the X10 2-Way Appliance Module AM14A (2-pin), AM15A (3-pin), and Lamp Module LM14A.

    Overview

These are classic X10 2-way plug-in modules: the AM14A (2-pin appliance module) and AM15A (3-pin appliance module) switch any plugged-in appliance ON/OFF via X10 commands, while the LM14A dims and brightens incandescent lamps. Because they're "2-way," they can be polled for status by a CM11A 2-Way Computer Interface running ActiveHome software, which will report and display whether the module is currently ON or OFF.

Setup & Operation (all three modules)

    1. Set the black Unit Code dial on the front of the module to the desired number (1–16).
    2. Set the red House Code dial to the same letter used by your X10 controllers, or the same letter used with your CM11A 2-Way Computer Interface and ActiveHome software.
    3. Make sure the lamp or appliance you want to control is switched ON, then unplug it from its outlet.
    4. Plug the lamp or appliance into the module.
    5. Plug the module into the AC wall outlet.

To turn a module ON/OFF, press the number matching its Unit Code on any X10 controller, then press ON or OFF.
