Specification sheet for the WaterCop® Z-Wave automatic water shut-off system — combining trusted early electronic leak detection with Z-Wave smart home network integration, for indoor or outdoor installation.

    Overview

WaterCop® Z-Wave combines the trusted benefits of early electronic leak detection and automatic water shut-off with the ability to operate on a Z-Wave enabled network, even outdoors. Once installed into a new or existing Z-Wave network, the WaterCop® Z-Wave control valve can be locally or remotely controlled via a gateway interface. It integrates with other automated home devices such as alarms and environmental controls for an added level of convenience and security.

    • Puts homeowners in total control of their plumbing system — remotely set up a protocol for routine open/close of water systems (requires a properly integrated Z-Wave gateway controller and network access)
    • Notifies key contacts the moment the system shuts off the main water supply
    • Z-Wave wireless sensors placed at or near water-utilizing appliances monitor for plumbing leaks or sudden flooding
    • Flood and temperature sensors transmit a closure signal through the Z-Wave network to the WaterCop® Z-Wave control valve on the main water supply
