Specifications for the Temperature@lert USB Edition (TM-STD30), a USB-connected temperature monitor for server rooms and network cabinets with email alerting.
Specification sheet for the Temperature@lert USB Edition (model TM-STD30) — a USB-connected temperature monitoring sensor for server rooms, network cabinets, and other temperature-sensitive spaces.
Temperature@lert USB Edition is an easy-to-install, USB-powered temperature monitoring device designed for remote and critical asset protection. It monitors ambient air temperature in server rooms, phone closets, network cabinets, computer rooms, and data centers, and can be located away from the host PC using a standard USB extension cable (up to 16 feet). It provides early warning of temperature problems that could damage IT equipment.
The sensor connects via USB to an always-on Windows computer with internet access and reports temperature readings continuously. It can optionally integrate with other Temperature@lert products through a web monitoring interface (paid subscription) or run standalone, automatically logging temperature history to a local MS SQL CE database for use in other applications.
