    Important Safeguards and Warnings

    Electrical Safety

    • All installation and operation must conform to local electrical safety codes.
    • Use only a certified/listed 12VDC Class 2 power supply.
    • Do not connect two power sources to the device simultaneously — this may damage the device.
    • The product must be grounded to reduce risk of electric shock.
    • Improper handling and/or installation risks fire or electrical shock.

    Environment

    • Avoid heavy stress, violent vibration, or exposure to water during transport, storage, and installation.
    • Install in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources; avoid extreme temperatures.
    • Do not expose the camera to electromagnetic radiation (risk of CMOS sensor failure).
    • Do not block any ventilation openings, and do not allow water or liquid intrusion.

    Operation and Maintenance

    • Shut down the device and unplug the power cable before performing any maintenance.
    • Do not touch the CMOS sensor optic — use a blower to remove dust.
    • Clean the device with a dry soft cloth; if heavily soiled, use a cloth dampened with mild neutral detergent, then dry.
    • Use only professional optical cleaning methods on the enclosure — improper cleaning may impair IR functionality or cause IR reflection.
    • Grounding the product's grounding holes is recommended for improved reliability.

This camera must be installed and serviced by qualified personnel only. Unauthorized changes or modifications could void the warranty.

    3. Connect the cable to the hermetic connector, then tighten the nut and main cover.

    Installation Steps

Note: Before installing, verify the mounting surface (wall or ceiling) can withstand at least three times the weight of the camera.

    1. Mount the junction box to the wall or ceiling with screws.
    2. Route the cables through the mounting surface and connect the relevant cables (using the included rubber plug where applicable).
    3. Fix the camera onto the junction box with screws.
    4. Bracket adjustment: Before final adjustment, preview the camera image on a monitor, loosen the fixed screws, adjust the view angle (Tilt: 90°, Rotate: 360°, Pan: 360°), then re-tighten the fixed screws.

    Web Operation and Login

    1. Ensure the camera and PC are on the same local network. The camera is set to DHCP by default.
    2. Install and run IP Scanner from the included CD.
    3. In the device list, view the IP address, model number, and MAC address for each detected device. Select the O8FBMS1 device and double-click to open the web viewer, or manually enter the IP address in your browser's address bar.
