    Drapery Types Supported

    Glydea® and Irismo™ motors work with all common drapery types: Pinch Pleat, Ripplefold®, and Accordia®. Control technology options include infrared, dry contact, Radio Technology Somfy® (RTS), RS485, Z-Wave®, and ZigBee®.

    All motors: motor sound level <44 dBA; minimum bending radius 11.8 in (30 cm); minimum curving radius 118 in (300 cm) — except IrismoTM 45 WireFree, which is not compatible with bends or curves.

    Glydea 35e/60e additionally support: 3 or 2 normally-open dry contacts, dry contact sequencing mode, individual/group/master dry contact control, infrared, and direct RS485 digital technology.

    Installation Features

    • Spring-loaded one-touch hardware (wall and ceiling mount)
    • Motor installs to right or left side of the drapery track
    • Automatic or adjustable limit setting
    • Swivel ceiling bracket minimizes light gap — recommended for curved tracks
    • Adjustable wall mount bracket, projection range 4.5"–6" (standard) or 8.75"–10.25" (double adjustable)

    Track Bends & Curves

    • Bends: Fixed radius of 11.8 in (30 cm), ideal for bay/corner windows. A Bent Drapery Track Measurement Form is required for all bend orders. Not compatible with Irismo™ 45 WireFree RTS.
    • Curves: Minimum radius 300 cm (118"), ideal for bow windows. A template is required for accuracy on all curve orders. Not compatible with Irismo™ 45 WireFree RTS.

    Bracket spacing recommendation: 1 bracket by each pulley, 1 bracket every 24 in, and 1 bracket on each side of a splice.

    Tandem Alternative & Custom Options

    • Tandem alternative: Uses two drapery motors for draperies exceeding a single motor's max capacity — available in RTS and dry contact configurations. Contact Somfy for specification details.
    • Top Mount: Conceals the motor in a drop ceiling or under a valence (requires Top Mount Kit #1780908).
