Full instruction manual for the SkylinkHome™ Snap-On Remote, Model TM-318, covering programming, on/off and dimming operation, and erasing transmitters from receiver modules.
Full instruction manual for the SkylinkHome™ Snap-On Remote, Model TM-318 — a wireless transmitter that snaps directly onto compatible SkylinkHome wall switches/dimmers or works standalone with any SkylinkHome receiver module.
Remove the battery isolator tab from the transmitter. The red LED stays on for 15 seconds, then turns off. Press the button — the red LED should flash to confirm the transmitter is powered. If the LED does not flash, see the Battery section below.
Note: Once the receiver enters programming mode, complete the pairing quickly — it automatically exits programming mode after 15 seconds even if pairing hasn't finished.
Pressing the button once toggles the connected load — if the light is off, pressing turns it on, and vice versa.
With the light on, press and hold the button to adjust brightness. Hold until the desired level is reached, then release. Press and hold again to change brightness in the opposite direction.
There are two erase methods depending on the receiver model:
| Type | Compatible Receivers | Procedure |
|---|---|---|
| A) Self Erase | PL-318, PR-318, PA-318, LS-318, WR-001 | Press the erase button on the receiver itself — this clears all paired transmitters. No transmitter action needed. |
| B) Erase by Remote | LX-318, MD-318, MR-318, WE-001 | Remove and re-insert the battery holder. Press and hold the button for at least 2 seconds while the LED is steadily on to transmit the "Erase" code. Put the receiver into programming mode; once it confirms the erase, release the button. |
Replace the battery (CR-2032) when the operating range decreases or the red LED no longer flashes during use — follow the same steps as the initial battery installation. Dispose of old batteries promptly and properly.
