Quick Installation Guide for the SkylinkHome™ Swing Door Operator (models DM-50 and DM-100) — In-Swing Left mounting configuration.

    Overview

This guide covers mounting and configuring a swing door operator for an in-swing, left-hinged door. The operator kit includes a mounting plate, slider bracket, door arm, and (for DM-100) an electromagnetic lock assembly with armature plate. Hardware is organized into labeled bags (A–F) matching each installation stage.

    Mounting the Operator

    1. Remove the 2 side covers and the 2 screws holding them.
    2. Position the mounting plate 7.5 in. (190 mm) away from the door frame.
    3. Secure the operator to the mounting plate using 6 screws, spring washers, and nuts.
    4. If the door opens more than 100°, add a door stopper to limit the opening angle.
    5. Secure the solid strike plate using the 3 screws provided.

    Setting the Door Configuration Switches

    1. Ensure the Door Setting slide switch is at the highest position for "In-Swing Left."
    2. Ensure the Operating Mode slide switch is at the lowest position for "Toggle mode" operation. The top 2 screws should match the 2 marked holes labeled "IN-SWING LEFT."

    Learning the Door Travel Limits

    1. Press and hold the door setting button (red) — the buzzer will beep slowly, then the motor and shaft rotate while the orange LED flashes slowly.
    2. When the motor stops, it emits 2 beeps — startup setting is complete.
    3. Release the door setting button.

Warning: Ensure nothing is trapped between the shaft and the operator during this process.

    Installing the Door Arm

    1. Close the door and insert the slider onto the slider bracket.
    2. Place the other end of the arm on top of the motor shaft.
    3. Manually open the door slowly to about 5° — the arm will drop and seat fully into the slots of the motor shaft.
    4. Secure the arm to the operator as indicated.

    Electromagnetic Lock Installation (DM-100 Only)

    1. Secure the armature plate to the mounting bracket using the soft spacer, then secure the assembly to the door frame.
    2. Secure the lock assembly on the door as indicated.
    3. Plug in the extension cord for the electromagnetic lock into the 2 most-up-left jumpers on the door opener.
    4. Connect the lock cable to the same 2 most-up-left jumpers.
    5. Secure the 2 side covers back on.

Setting Door Travel Limits & Final Test

    1. Plug in the adapter — the red LED comes on.
    2. Press and hold the door setting button for 10 seconds until a long beep is heard, then release. The operator will open and close one full cycle.
    3. Door should end in the fully closed position. You may now unplug the adapter from the operator.

DM-50: Installation is complete after this step.

DM-100: Continue with the electromagnetic lock installation above before finishing.
