User manual for the Skylink® WM-201 Keychain/Wallmount Transmitter for swing door openers.
User manual for the Skylink® WM-201 Keychain / Wallmount Transmitter — a remote that programs to a Skylink Swing Door Opener (model DM-001) for hands-free open/close/stop control, with an optional second door opener support.
You can program up to 15 single-button transmitters, or 7 Model WM-201 transmitters, to one swing door opener — useful for multiple household users each carrying their own remote.
Two operating modes are available (refer to your swing door opener's manual for mode details):
Pressing the programmed button toggles the door: open → close, or close → open. While operating, the orange LED flashes and the buzzer beeps. Pressing the button again mid-motion stops the door.
The top button opens the door; the lower button closes it.
Mount the transmitter on the wall near the door exit using the provided mounting bracket and double-sided foam tape. Ensure the wall surface is clean and smooth for good adhesion.
If the swing door opener runs in toggle mode, the second button on the WM-201 can be programmed to operate a separate swing door opener — letting one remote control 2 doors.
Note: this erase operation removes all programmed transmitters at once; individual transmitters cannot be erased separately.
Uses a 12V alkaline battery (size 23A), included. Replace when the transmitter's red LED no longer lights when either button is pressed.
| Problem | Solution |

| Door opener does not respond after pressing the transmitter button | Confirm the transmitter's red light comes on when pressed (check the battery if not). Ensure the door opener is powered on. Re-program the transmitter (see Programming section above). |
