    Overview

    • Contact and magnet must be installed on the protected side of the door.
    • Wiring diagram in the PDF shows the SM-4601-LQ; the SM-4601-L3Q wiring will differ.

    Installation

    Read the manual carefully before beginning installation.

    1. Mount the contact on the track in a safe location away from equipment interference, near where the magnet will be when the door is closed.
    2. Run the armored cable out of the way. Run wires from the alarm control panel and connect to the corresponding wires extending from the cable armor.
    3. Mount the magnet on the roll-up door so it triggers the contact when the door is closed. Make sure the gap between contact and magnet does not exceed 3" (76mm).

    Warranty

    Limited Lifetime Warranty: This SECO-LARM product is warranted against defects in material and workmanship for the lifetime of the product under normal service. SECO-LARM's obligation is limited to repair or replacement of any defective part if the unit is returned, transportation prepaid, to SECO-LARM. SECO-LARM is not responsible for costs of removal, installation, or reinstallation. The warranty is void if damage results from acts of God, misuse, abuse, neglect, unauthorized repair/alteration, improper usage, or faulty installation. This lifetime limited warranty applies to products sold and installed in the United States and Canada; for all other countries the warranty is 1 year.
