SECO-LARM SM-4105-LQ — 3/4" Steel Door Recessed-Mount Magnetic Contact Manual

The SECO-LARM SM-4105-LQ is a 3/4" recessed-mount magnetic door/window contact designed for steel-framed doors and windows where surface-mount hardware is impractical or unsightly. It uses a strong one-piece high-impact ABS construction with iridium-plated SPST reed switch contacts for higher power handling and long service life.

Installation

1. Mount the contact above the door or window on the frame. For doors, ensure the mounting is farthest from the hinged side of the door.
2. Connect two wires to the contact terminals and to the alarm control panel.
3. Mount the magnet on the door/window so it faces the contact. Ensure the gap between the contact and magnet does not exceed 1" (25mm).

Warranty

Lifetime Limited Warranty (U.S. and Canada; 1 year for all other countries): This SECO-LARM product is warranted against defects in material and workmanship for the lifetime of the product when used in normal service. SECO-LARM's obligation is limited to repair or replacement of any defective part if the unit is returned, transportation prepaid, to SECO-LARM. SECO-LARM is not responsible for removal, installation, or reinstallation costs. This warranty is void if damage is caused by acts of God, misuse, abuse, neglect, improper repair/alteration, or faulty installation.
