    Specification sheet for the SECO-LARM SD-991A-D1Q Mini No-Cut Electric Door Strike — a 12VDC, fail-secure, non-handed door strike that converts a cylindrical lock set into an electronic access-controlled locking system.

    Overview

    The SD-991A-D1Q converts cylindrical lock sets into an electronic access-controlled locking system. It's fail-secure — the door remains locked if power to the strike is lost — and uses a simple 2-wire, non-polarized connection. Its reversible, non-handed design fits either right-hand or left-hand doors, and its shallow design suits most metal doors. It's powered by a solenoid (not a buzzer coil) and is intended for indoor use with virtually any cylindrical door locking system, optionally paired with a digital keypad, pushbutton switch, or other entry device. Suitable for office-type applications.
