    On-screen display (OSD) manual for the SECO-LARM ENFORCER 4-in-1 HD cameras — EV-Y1501-A2WQ, EV-Y1501-AMWQ, EV-Y2251-A2WQ, EV-Y2251-AMWQ, EV-Y2501-A2WQ, EV-Y2501-A2GQ, EV-Y2501-AMWQ, EV-Y2501-AMGQ, and EV-Y2501-AMWAQ — switchable TVI/CVI/AHD/Analog bullet, turret, and dome cameras with a built-in joystick OSD controller.

    Programmable Features

    • Digital Wide Dynamic Range (D-WDR) — Clear images even with varying backlight illumination
    • Multiple Output Formats — Switch between AHD, CVI, TVI, and CVBS
    • Exposure — Adjust brightness and exposure modes
    • Back Light Compensation (BLC) — Correct exposure for subjects in front of bright light
    • White Balance — Adjust the picture's color temperature/image color
    • Day & Night — Adjust the ambient light level that triggers color/B&W switching
    • Noise Reduction (DNR) — Reduce interference in low-illumination areas

    Note: all screen images in the manual are simulated.

    Using the OSD Controller

    1. Press down on the joystick to open the OSD menu.
    2. Use the joystick to navigate the menu.
    3. Press down (enter) on the joystick to select an item.

    Switching Between HD Analog Outputs

    Press the joystick in the direction of the desired format, hold for 5 seconds, and release when the camera restarts:

    Navigating the OSD

    1. Press enter to display the Main Menu.
    2. Move the joystick up/down to highlight a function.
    3. Press enter to select it.
    4. Move the joystick left/right to change the setting.
    5. Move the cursor to RESET, SAVE & END, or EXIT.
    6. Press enter to confirm and leave the OSD menu.

    Note: a submenu is available wherever the menu shows an arrow indicator.

    Menu Structure

    • AUTO EXPOSURE — Brightness (1–20 or 1–100 depending on model), BLC level, Globe, FLC*, Center*
    • AUTO WHITE BAL — ATW, Manual (Red/Blue gain), Gray World*, Exit
    • DAY & NIGHT — EXT, B/W, Color, Auto†
    • IMAGE ENHANCE — Contrast (1–16 or Auto/Manual 0–20), Sharpness, Saturate*, Color Gain†, DNR†, 2DNR*, 3DNR*, Mirror† (H/V/HV), D-WDR† (On/Off)
    • VIDEO OUTPUT — TVI (5MP 20FPS / 1080p 30/25FPS*), CVBS (NTSC/PAL), AHD (5MP 20FPS / 1080p 30/25FPS*), CVI (4MP 25/30FPS / 1080p 30/25FPS*)
    • LANGUAGE — English, Chinese1/2, Italian, Russian, Portuguese, and (on select models) Japanese, Polish, French, Korean, Greek
    • EXIT — Reset, Save-Exit, Exit

    Exposure Settings

    Select AUTO EXPOSURE on the Main Menu, then use the joystick to enter sub-menus as needed.

    • BRIGHTNESS — Adjust 1–20 (Default: 6) or 1–100 (Default: 41, EV-Y2251 series)
    • GLOBE — Automatically adjusts light level based on environment
    • BACKLIGHT (BLC) — Corrects exposure of subjects against a strong backlight. Level: 1–9 (Default: 1) or 0–7 (Default: 4, EV-Y2251 series)
    • FLC* — Controls light level to overcome strong front light
    • CENTER* — Samples the center of the image to determine exposure for the full field of view

    Auto White Balance

    • ATW — Automatically tracks white balance color temperature between 3,200°K~9,200°K
    • MANUAL — Manually set Red (0–127 or 0–63) and Blue (0–127 or 0–63) gain values
    • GRAY WORLD* — Adjusts white balance to gray rather than white for better environmental exposure

    Note: if DAY & NIGHT is set to B/W, WHITE BAL is not available.

    Day and Night

    • EXT — Automatically switches Color/B&W using the integrated IR CDS sensor
    • B/W — Forces B&W mode at all times
    • COLOR — Forces color mode at all times
    • AUTO† — Automatically switches Color/B&W using AGC values

    Image Enhance

    • CONTRAST — 0–16 (Default: 5) or Auto/Manual 0–20 (Default: 10)*
    • SHARPNESS — 0–16 (Default: 5) or Auto/Manual 0–20 (Default: 8)*
    • COLOR GAIN† — 1–16 (Default: 4), reduces or increases color saturation intensity
    • SATURATE* — Auto or Manual 0–20 (Default: 10), amount of color hue
    • 2DNR* — Auto or 0–20 (Default: 0), general lighting 2D noise reduction
    • 3DNR* — Auto or 0–20 (Default: 0), low-light 3D noise reduction (may increase after-images at higher settings)
    • DNR† — 1–16 (Default: 7), controls digital noise reduction in low light
    • MIRROR† — H (horizontal flip), V (vertical flip), HV (both)
    • D-WDR† — On/Off (Default: Off), clear images under intense backlight

    Video Output

    Select VIDEO OUTPUT on the Main Menu:

    • TVI — 5MP 20FPS, or 1080p 25/30FPS*
    • CVBS — NTSC, PAL
    • AHD — 5MP 20FPS, or 1080p 25/30FPS*
    • CVI — 4MP 25/30FPS, or 1080p 25/30FPS*

    LANGUAGE: English, Chinese1 (Simplified), Chinese2 (Traditional), Italian, Russian, Portuguese, and on EV-Y2251 series also Japanese, Polish, French, Korean, Greek.

    Exit Menu

    • RESET — Restore all OSD settings to factory defaults and exit
    • SAVE & END — Save changes and exit
    • EXIT — Exit without saving

FCC Class B compliant — tested for reasonable protection against harmful interference in a commercial environment; may require correcting interference at the user's expense if installed in a residential area.

    Warranted against defects in material and workmanship for three (3) years from date of sale to the original customer. SECO-LARM's obligation is limited to repair or replacement of defective parts, transportation prepaid. Void for damage from acts of God, misuse, neglect, alteration, or improper installation.
