    Specification sheet for the SECO-LARM ENFORCER SM-226RQ and SM-226R-3Q overhead door magnetic contacts — wide 2¾" gap contacts designed for garage and overhead door applications.

    Overview

    These contacts are used for overhead doors in both industrial and residential situations where a wide gap is present, and are adjustable to fit most door-channel widths. The switch is contained in a curved low-profile cast-aluminum housing for surface mounting on the garage floor. The magnet is enclosed in an epoxy compound inside an aluminum case for direct installation to the garage door with no projecting bracket to break or serve as a handle. The 24" wire leads are enclosed in armored cable, and the contact reed switch is SPST with deactivated rhodium on gold under-plating for a longer expected life.
