Specifications for the SECO-LARM SD-961A-36 Push-to-Exit Bar — a rugged 36" exit bar designed to allow egress from an area secured by an electric or electromagnetic lock, and/or to disarm (shunt) or trigger an alarm when the door is opened.

Overview

Pushing the bar at any point along its length sends a signal to release the lock and/or sound an alarm. The bar carries an attractive brushed-aluminum finish with a black base and trim, and includes the SECO-LARM SD-969-A18 armored door cord plus mounting hardware for wood or metal doors. A newer end-cap design (removable in seconds) makes installation easier, and the kit now includes complete mounting hardware for hollow doors.
