    Product information for the SECO-LARM SD-7213-GSP (green mushroom cap) and SD-7213-RSP (red mushroom cap) single-gang Request-to-Exit Plates with Pneumatic Timer — a zero-power exit-delay solution.

    Overview

    These single-gang Request-to-Exit plates use a pneumatic (mechanical) timer that requires no electrical power, making them ideal for installations where supplying timer power is inconvenient or where local fire codes require non-electrical breaking of contact. They conform to NFPA 101 fire codes for non-electrical breaking of contact.

    Sample Application

    Wire the red leads for N.C. (fail-safe) operation to the electronic lock. In a typical setup, the RTE plate with pneumatic timer connects to an electronic lock, which in turn is powered by an EAP-5D1Q access control power supply feeding an Enforcer series electromagnetic lock — use these plates anywhere zero-spark switching is required.
