Product information for the SECO-LARM SD-72081-6MQ Single-Gang Mortise Cylinder Key Switch, a manual backup for access control systems.
Product information for the SECO-LARM SD-72081-6MQ Single-Gang Mortise Cylinder Key Switch — a keyed backup override for access control systems, letting a user manually switch between N.C. and N.O. contacts to force a door open if a keypad or proximity card reader fails.
If a keypad or proximity card reader fails to activate an electronic lock, the SD-72081-6MQ lets the user switch between normally closed (N.C.) and normally open (N.O.) contacts, forcing the door to open. It acts as a manual backup for access control systems so the system isn't solely dependent on the integrity of a single electronic device.
| Model | SD-72081-6MQ |
| Switch type | DPDT switch (momentary) |
| Contact rating | 5A@125VAC, NO/NC |
| Dimensions | 2¾"x4½"x1⁷⁄₁₆" (69x114x37mm) |
Color-coded wires connect directly to the PCB terminals:
The SD-72081-6MQ can be wired alongside an electromagnetic lock (e.g., E-941SA-600) and a strobe light (e.g., SL-1301-BAQ) to provide a manual keyed override that forces a door open independent of the primary access-control device.
SECO-LARM's policy is one of continual development; specifications and pricing are subject to change without notice, and SECO-LARM is not responsible for misprints.
