    Specifications for the SECO-LARM SD-71051-V0 Request-to-Exit Key Switch Plate (slimline, momentary switch) — part of the SD-7x0x1/2-V0 family of stainless-steel keylock switch plates used to finish access-control installations, connecting to electromagnetic door locks, gate locks, or other access devices.

    Overview

    These tough, stainless-steel plates securely and attractively finish access-control projects. The included N.C. (turn-to-open), pre-wired keylock switch connects to an electromagnetic door lock, gate lock, or other access device to temporarily or permanently allow entry or exit by cutting power to the lock.

    Switch Behavior

    • Momentary models (SD-72051-V0 / SD-71051-V0): Shunt ON, momentary OFF spring-loaded keylock switch. Switch is maintained ON, and springs back from OFF. Key is removable from the ON position only.
    • Shunt models (SD-72002-V0 / SD-71002-V0): Maintained ON/OFF keylock switch. Switch can be left ON or OFF at will. Key is removable from either the ON or OFF position.

    Typical Installation

    A digital keypad and an SD-series request-to-exit plate connect to a power supply (e.g., SK-983A) which feeds an electromagnetic lock (e.g., E-941SA-1200), allowing either the keypad or the key switch to release the door.
