    Full manual for the SECO-LARM PA-U0405-NULQ Enforcer 4-Channel CCTV "Brick" Power Supply — a compact 5-amp power distribution unit for CCTV and access control installations, with adjustable output voltage and built-in overcurrent protection.

    Overview

    The PA-U0405-NULQ is a 4-channel, 5-amp power supply normally used in CCTV installations but suitable for a wide variety of CCTV and access control applications. It features adjustable output voltage (12–13.8 VDC) and built-in 6.8-amp overcurrent protection.

    Installation

    1. Find a suitable location to install the power supply — out of sight, protected from weather and high humidity, with adequate ventilation. Insufficient ventilation may cause overheating and damage.
    2. Attach the power supply to a wall or desk using the included mounting bracket. If possible, mount sideways or with the terminals facing down so they don't collect dust.
    3. Connect the main power cable to the power supply.

    Wiring and Adjusting Voltage

    1. Connect cameras and other devices to the power outputs, observing correct polarity. Use 18-gauge or larger wire to minimize voltage drop. Warning: always test output voltage before connecting devices to the power supply.
    2. If voltage drop is large, adjust the output voltage potentiometer accordingly.

    Troubleshooting

    Symptom Action
    Camera will not turn on Make sure all wires are connected securely and the polarity is correct.
    No output power from power supply Check that the main power cable is securely connected to the power supply. Check the total supply current for all connected devices does not exceed 5A.

    Warranted against defects in material and workmanship for two (2) years from the date of sale to the original customer. SECO-LARM's obligation is limited to repair or replacement of any defective part if the unit is returned, transportation prepaid, to SECO-LARM.
