    Manual for the SECO-LARM ENFORCER MVE-AH010Q HDMI Over Cat5/6 Extender — a transmitter/receiver pair that extends full 1080p HDMI signal up to 196ft over standard Cat5/6 cable.

    Introduction

    The HDMI over Cat5/6 extends the range of traditional HDMI cabling up to 196ft (60m). It uses an active transmitter to send video and audio over Cat5/6 cables in HDMI formats as large as 1080p, with zero signal loss thanks to integrated circuits in the receiver and transmitter.

    Parts List

    Two Cat5/6 cables are required, wired to the T568B standard.

    Installation

    1. Determine the location for the HDMI-to-Cat5 units and how much Cat5/6 cable is needed.
    2. Plug the transmitter into the HDMI port on the source device.
    3. Connect the Cat5/6 cables to both receiver and transmitter, matching port 1 to port 1 and port 2 to port 2. Use Cat6e cable for maximum range.
    4. Plug the receiver unit into the HDMI-out device.
    5. Plug the 5VDC adapter into the transmitter unit.
    6. Turn on the HDMI input and output devices to test functionality.
