    September 08, 2026 3 min read

Complete manual for the SECO-LARM ENFORCER MVE-AN1W1-01Q Wireless IR Repeater Kit.

    Full text manual (for reference)

Manual for the SECO-LARM ENFORCER MVE-AN1W1-01Q Wireless IR Repeater Kit — extends an IR remote control signal to operate audio/video equipment kept in a separate room or inside a closed cabinet, using 915MHz RF transmission with frequency-hopping to minimize interference.

    Overview

The kit wirelessly relays IR signals over up to 656ft (200m) line-of-sight, letting you control gear that's out of direct remote range — behind cabinet doors, in a different room, or tucked in an equipment closet. It's compatible with 20~60 kHz IR systems, which covers the vast majority of consumer A/V remotes.

    Key Features

    • Wireless IR transmission up to 656ft (200m)* line-of-sight
    • 915MHz RF with frequency-hopping technology to minimize interference
    • Compatible with 20~60 kHz IR remote systems
    • Blue IR-confirmation LED on both transmitter and receiver
    • 5VDC power (two AC adapters included, one per unit)
    • Compact size for easy mounting near A/V equipment
    • Includes one 10ft (3m) wired IR emitter and one 5ft (1.5m) wired IR receiver

*Line-of-sight range; actual range may vary with installation and operating environment.

    Installation

    1. Find a suitable location near an AC outlet and place the receiver facing the A/V equipment to be controlled. Plug in the unit.
    2. Find a suitable location near an AC outlet and place the transmitter so the built-in IR receiver is visible to the IR remote. Plug in the unit. (The blue LED illuminates when an IR signal is received/emitted.)
    3. For hidden transmitter/receiver installations, mount the wired IR receiver using the included double-sided tape in a location visible to the IR remote, then connect it to the IR receiver input.
    4. Mount the wired IR emitter using one of these methods: taped directly to the IR receiving window of the controlled device; on a shelf pointing toward that window; or on the cabinet door pointing toward that window.
    5. Connect the wired IR emitter to the IR emitter input.
    6. Test the system to verify proper operation.
