    Installation

    1. Determine the mounting location of both the Magnetic Door Holder and the Armature Plate. Run power wires to that location in compliance with local codes.
    2. Select the voltage (two jumpers for 12VAC/VDC, or a single jumper for 24VAC/VDC or 120VAC) and adjust the jumpers accordingly.
    3. DH-151SQ (Surface-Mount): Mount the back box at the wire location and connect wires per the wiring diagram; screw the unit onto the back box and test.
    4. DH-171SQ (Flush-Mount): Connect wires per the wiring diagram; screw the unit onto the single-gang box and test.
    5. Mount the Armature Plate to the door, aligned with the door holder (extension bars available if needed).
    6. Double-check all connections and mountings before finishing installation.

Important: The wiring connections must match the voltage jumper settings and the supplied voltage.

    Voltage Settings

Set the voltage using the jumpers: 12 VAC/VDC uses two jumpers; 24 VAC/VDC and 120VAC each use a single jumper in a different position. Factory default is 120VAC. To avoid personal injury or product damage, ensure the jumper setting matches both the wiring connections and the supplied voltage — improper settings/wiring will void the warranty, and SECO-LARM will not be responsible for resulting injury.
