    Installation

    Power Connection

The transmitter can run on its factory-installed 3VDC lithium CR-2032 battery, or on an external 3~13VDC regulated adapter (not included). To use an external adapter, connect the red wire (positive) and black wire (negative) of the transmitter to the adapter's output wires — correct polarity is critical.

    • Power input range is 3~13VDC and polarity-sensitive. Exceeding 13VDC or reversing polarity will burn out the unit and void the warranty.
    • Use only "regulated" adapters.
    • If an external adapter is used, the CR-2032 battery serves as backup during a power interruption (remove the battery if using an external inline power-on switch).
    • If using an external power-on switch, remove the battery to disable the built-in button so it can only be triggered via the switch.

    External Switch Connection

The transmitter can be triggered by its built-in button, an external normally-open (N.O.) switch/contact/sensor only, or by both:

    • Fig. 1 — Built-in button only: Insulate the unused blue wires; connect the red/black wires to the adapter as normal.
    • Fig. 2 — External inline power-on switch: Connect the blue wires to the external switch; the battery must be removed for this configuration.
    • Fig. 3 — External switch plus built-in button: AC adapter is optional; insulate red/black wires if not used.

Any unused wires must be insulated to avoid a short circuit. Do not let the red wire touch any other wire, or it may burn out the transmitter. (External switch is not included.)

    Regulatory & Warranty
